The SU-76i (Samokhodnaya Ustanovka 76) was a Soviet self-propelled gun used during World War II based on the German Pz Kpfw III and StuG III chassis, armed with a ZiS-5 76.2 mm gun. About 1,200 of these captured vehicles, many from Stalingrad, were converted at Factory No. 38 by adding a new enclosed superstructure. They were issued to tank and self-propelled gun units starting in autumn 1943.

Sherman M4A3E8's Concrete Armor
The M4A3E8's Concrete Armor was issue by the 12th Armored Division in February-January 1945. In order to strenght late Sherman's anti-tank features the 12th's ordnance officers decided to develop a local expedient using concrete applied over the glacis plate and the hull sides with steel rebar for internal reinforcement.
